Mark Lopez - State Farm Agency in Albuquerque is looking for an Insurance Customer Retention Representative to join our team.

This is a full-time, in-office opportunity for an experienced insurance professional who enjoys building relationships, helping customers, solving problems, and keeping customers connected to their insurance agency.

This position focuses primarily on retaining and supporting existing State Farm customers. You'll be an important resource for customers who have questions, need assistance with their policies, or may be considering changes to their coverage.

What You'll Do

• Build strong, long-term relationships with existing customers
  
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for customer questions and service needs
  
• Help retain customers by providing responsive, knowledgeable, and personalized service
  
• Respond to questions regarding policies, coverage, billing, eligibility, and policy changes
  
• Assist customers with policy updates, transfers, and other service requests
  
• Identify and address customer concerns that could lead to cancellation or loss of business
  
• Help customers understand their existing coverage and available options
  
• Follow up with customers to ensure their questions and concerns have been resolved
  
• Assist with claims-related questions and direct customers to appropriate resources
  
• Identify opportunities to help customers address gaps in their insurance protection
  
• Recommend appropriate additional products or coverage when there is a genuine customer need
  
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
  
• Work closely with the agency team to provide a consistent customer experience

Compensation & Benefits

• $20$23/hour, depending on licensing and experience

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license
  
• Strong customer service and communication skills
  
• Ability to work effectively in an in-office environment
  
• Professional, dependable, and organized
  
• Ability to manage multiple customer needs and priorities

Preferred:

• Previous insurance customer service experience
  
• Experience with policy servicing, account management, or customer retention
  
• Life & Health insurance license
  
• Previous State Farm experience
  
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills
• Experience handling policy changes, billing questions, claims-related inquiries, or customer concerns
