Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
- Provide accurate information about insurance policies, coverage, and billing.
- Assist policyholders with making changes to their accounts, such as updating information or adjusting coverage.
- Process policy endorsements, renewals, and cancellations efficiently.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and empathetic in stressful situations.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a significant plus.
