INSURANCE DEFENSE ATTORNEY

ROLE: INSURANCE DEFENSE ATTORNEY - PA & NJ LICENSED

Compensation: $120,000 $145,000 per year

Overview:

Client is seeking an insurance defense attorney who is licensed in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level attorney with 3 5 years of solid insurance defense litigation experience looking to grow with a respected and established firm.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle insurance defense litigation matters in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania courts

- Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters including personal injury, coverage disputes, and liability claims

- Take and defend depositions

- Draft dispositive motions, coverage opinions, and legal briefs

- Represent clients at court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations

- Communicate directly with insurance carrier clients

- Conduct legal research and prepare written analysis

- Manage matters from pre-litigation through trial

Required Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

- Active New Jersey Bar license - MANDATORY

- Active Pennsylvania Bar license - MANDATORY (dual admission NJ and PA required)

- 3 5 years of insurance defense litigation experience

- Strong research, writing, and courtroom skills

- Must be local to or able to commute to North Jersey - no relocation

- Resume and completed submission form required

- Confirm active NJ Bar admission and license number

- Confirm active PA Bar admission and license number (Role 2 only)

- Confirm years of insurance defense litigation experience

- Confirm specific practice areas (NJ auto, personal injury, coverage, premises liability)

- Include exact salary expectation

- Include work authorization status
