We are seeking an experienced Insurance Producer to join our team and help grow our presence within the local Michigan market.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, relationship-focused insurance professional who enjoys building connections, developing new business, and helping clients find coverage that fits their needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Personal Lines and a proven ability to generate new business and build lasting client relationships.

This role offers the opportunity to leverage your existing relationships and local network while developing new opportunities and growing a book of business within an established independent insurance organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, pursue, and close new insurance business opportunities.

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through proactive communication and responsive service.

• Understand clients’ insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.

• Generate new business through referrals, networking, community involvement, inbound and outbound calls, social media, and other prospecting activities.

• Develop relationships with individuals, families, and local businesses within the community.

• Work closely with carriers, underwriters, and internal service teams to provide clients with appropriate coverage and a high level of service.

• Meet or exceed established sales goals and performance expectations.

• Stay current on carrier products, insurance trends, and industry requirements.

• Maintain accurate client records and provide consistent follow-up throughout the sales process.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Property & Casualty insurance license.

• Proven track record of generating new business and meeting or exceeding sales goals.

• Personal Lines insurance experience strongly preferred.

• Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

• Highly organized with excellent follow-up and client management abilities.

• Self-motivated and comfortable developing business independently.

• Strong interest in building long-term relationships and becoming a trusted insurance resource within the local community.
