About the Opportunity
Greg Lunde State Farm Agency is looking for an Insurance Sales and Service Representative to join our team. This is primarily a sales-focused position with some service responsibilities and an opportunity to support our sales lead.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to providing excellent customer service. They should also be comfortable identifying customer needs, assisting with sales opportunities, and helping the agency deliver a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional and responsive service to existing State Farm customers.
- Assist customers with policy questions, changes, billing inquiries, and other service needs.
- Process policy updates and maintain accurate customer information.
- Assist the sales lead with customer follow-up, quotes, and sales-related activities.
- Identify potential sales opportunities and refer or assist with those opportunities as appropriate.
- Help customers understand their coverage and available insurance options.
- Maintain organized records and ensure service requests are handled accurately and promptly.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers.
- Support the agency team in meeting customer service and business goals.
Qualifications
- Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license (must have or be able to obtain).
- Active Life & Health (L&H) insurance license (must have or be able to obtain).
- Previous insurance agency and/or sales experience is helpful.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable assisting with service while maintaining a primary focus on sales.
- Motivated, dependable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Compensation & Benefits
- Guaranted Base Pay: $45,000$48,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
