A newly formed independent agency based in North Platte, Nebraska, is hiring producers. The principal brings more than 30 years of insurance experience, access to national and regional carriers, and an experienced service professional already in place. You’ll help grow the agency while focusing primarily on sales and relationship development.

What You’ll Do

• Develop new personal and commercial lines business through outbound prospecting, networking, and referrals
• Build relationships with individuals, business owners, and referral partners throughout west-central Nebraska
• Understand clients’ coverage needs, quote through available carriers, and present insurance proposals
• Follow up consistently with prospects and move opportunities toward a decision
• Build and retain a profitable book of business
• Coordinate complete, accurate account handoffs with the agency’s service professional

What You’ll Need

• Active Property & Casualty and Life/Health insurance licenses are required. Unlicensed applicants cannot be considered.
• Previous experience working in an insurance office
• Clear, confident phone communication and strong relationship-building skills
• Willingness to make outbound calls, initiate conversations, and follow up consistently
• Ability to organize your work and maintain steady sales activity without close daily supervision
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and take coaching
• Availability during Nebraska’s Central Time business hours
• Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, distraction-free home office

Independent agency and commercial lines experience are helpful, but neither is required. If your background is in personal lines or a captive agency, we encourage you to apply. Commercial training and carrier guidance will be provided.

Work Location

This is a remote position serving clients throughout west-central Nebraska. The agency is based in North Platte, and candidates from Kearney, Grand Island, and surrounding communities are encouraged to apply.

Compensation

The $75,000–$150,000+ annual range reflects expected total earnings from base salary, new-business commissions, and renewal commissions. Actual earnings will vary based on experience, production, and the business you develop and retain.
