Insurance Sales Representative (Licensed or Will Train)

$36,000$40,000 base + uncapped commission $80K+ realistic in year one

We're not a hire-ten-and-hope agency. The Ekblade Agency has served Connecticut families since 2012, and we're adding two sales reps we'll invest in heavily. We expect them to be writing real business within 30-60 days.

New to insurance? We'll get you licensed.

If you've sold cars, worked a bar, run a bank counter, or closed anything, you already have the hard part. We'll train you on the rest. Get your CT Property & Casualty license within 60 days and we'll reimburse your course and exam costs plus pay you a $500 licensing bonus.

Already licensed with P&C experience?

Even better. Experienced reps start at the top of our base range and can hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

• Quote and close home, auto and renters policies
• Work leads by phone, text and email, and follow up relentlessly
• Turn one policy into a full household relationship
• Hit (and beat) monthly sales goals

• Competitive, coachable, and a little relentless
• Great on the phone and organized with follow-up
• CT Property & Casualty license, or ready to get licensed within 60 days
• Sales or customer-facing experience a plus (car sales, retail, banking, restaurants, real estate, phone sales)
• Comfortable with computers and quoting software
• Bilingual is a plus
