Insurance Sales Representative

We are looking for an Insurance Sales Representative who values genuine connection and takes pride in providing clear, thoughtful guidance to every person who walks through our doors or calls our office. In this role, you will be the face and voice of our agency, turning complex insurance concepts into simple, actionable solutions for our clients.

The compensation for this opportunity includes an hourly wage of $17 - $18 per hour, plus commission and bonuses. On average first year producers earn $50,000 - $80,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients through their insurance options to help them select the coverage that best protects their families and assets.
• Process new policy applications and manage changes for existing customers with precision and care.
• Connect with local community members to build lasting, trust-based relationships.
• Respond to inquiries regarding billing, claims, and policy details in a helpful and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate client files and stay up to date on carrier requirements and changes.
• Actively listen to individual needs to identify opportunities for account rounding and better protection.

• Illinois Producer License for Property & Casualty, and willingness to get Life if not already Licensed.
• Previous experience working in an insurance agency or direct sales role.
• Solid understanding of personal lines and life insurance products.
• Strong comfort level using computers for policy management and client documentation.
• Clear, empathetic, and professional communication style.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
