The Jeff Longino Agency in Fredericksburg is adding an Insurance Account Sales Specialist to our team.

We're looking for someone who is naturally comfortable talking with people, enjoys solving problems, and likes the challenge of working toward a goal. This position combines sales, relationship building, and customer service in an environment where your performance can directly increase your earning potential.

You'll help prospective customers understand their insurance options, prepare personalized quotes, follow up on opportunities, and build relationships that continue long after the initial sale.

Most importantly, you'll have support along the way. We provide paid training, licensing sponsorship, and hands-on development to help you build the knowledge and confidence needed to succeed.

Salary Range: $35000.00 - $65000.00 per year

Responsibilities

What Your Day Could Look Like

Your primary focus will be creating new business opportunities and helping customers find coverage that makes sense for them. You'll proactively connect with leads by phone and email, schedule appointments, prepare insurance quotes, explain coverage options, and confidently guide customers through the sales process.

You'll also maintain relationships after the sale by answering questions, assisting with basic policy or billing needs, and looking for opportunities to help customers with additional insurance products.

As part of a growing local agency, you'll work closely with the agency owner and team to achieve sales, service, and marketing goals.

Success in this role starts with the right mindset. We're looking for someone who takes initiative, communicates confidently, follows through, and doesn't get discouraged when they hear "no."

You should be organized enough to manage multiple leads and follow-ups while still providing each customer with a positive, professional experience.

Additional qualifications include:

• Texas P&C license OR willingness to obtain within the required timeframe
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented personality
• Ability to build rapport with different types of customers
• Comfortable making outbound calls and following up on opportunities
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Sales or customer service experience preferred
