Job Summary:
The Insurance Solutions Specialist provides consultative support to policyholders, agents, and stakeholders through multiple communication channels. This role focuses on delivering tailored insurance solutions, building trusted relationships, and enhancing customer satisfaction through proactive service and product recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide inbound and outbound customer support via phone, email, and other channels
  • Conduct comprehensive account reviews and explain insurance products and coverage
  • Recommend and sell additional coverage based on policyholder needs
  • Process transactions and manage policy updates accurately
  • Interpret underwriting guidelines and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Respond to inquiries with timeliness, quality, and accuracy
  • Draft written communications for service requests
  • Document interactions and maintain accurate records across systems
  • Participate in training, meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support customer retention and improve overall service experience
Required Experience:
  • 2–4 years of experience in an insurance agency or carrier environment
  • Prior call center or contact center experience preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required state insurance licenses
  • Strong customer service and sales skills
  • Experience using multiple computer systems simultaneously
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems independently
Nice-to-Have Experience:
  • Experience in property and casualty insurance
  • Familiarity with underwriting guidelines and insurance regulations
  • Experience working in high-volume customer service environments
