Intake Assessor (Night Shift)

Pay: 26 - 38/Hr (Plus night shift diff)

Location: St Louis, MO  

Schedule: Day Shift | 3x12s (7a–7p)

How You Will Make a Difference

• Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, suicide and violence risk screenings (e.g., C-SSRS), and ASAM assessments when indicated.
• Obtain collateral information, verify benefits, and coordinate timely bed placement with nursing and medical leadership.
• Consult with the on-call psychiatrist/NP to support clinical decision-making, formulate provisional diagnoses, and develop recommendations.
• Document assessments, clinical decisions, and disposition plans clearly and accurately in the EMR.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, referral sources, and overnight clinical teams to ensure timely and coordinated care.
• Support safe dispositions, address emerging safety concerns, and provide thorough handoffs to daytime providers and interdisciplinary teams.

What We’re Looking For

• Active independent licensure (e.g., LCSW / PLPC / RN)
• 2+ years acute behavioral health or crisis evaluation experience.
• Expertise in risk assessment, de‑escalation, and payer authorization processes.
