Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Intake Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of medical administrative processes. As an Intake Coordinator, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient intake process while maintaining compliance with health regulations and confidentiality standards. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to quality patient care through effective management of patient information and seamless coordination between patients and healthcare providers.

Estimated Pay: $15-20/hr

Shifts:

12-hour shifts

FT and PRN (Full Time: 3 12-hour shifts, with every other weekend rotation)

Nights

Hours: 7pm-7am

Duties

• Provides Clerical Support to the Assessment and Referral Department.
• Maintains documents necessary for admissions.
• Inventories patient belongings.
• Processes consent forms and admission documentation.
• Provides assistance to other units as necessary.
• Communicates with families, patients, or referrals sources as needed.
• Handles incoming referral calls from potential clients.

High school diploma or GED required.

Must be 21 yrs or older
