BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a Intake Specialist to join our outstanding and compassionate team at BayCare Behavioral Health Center!

Intake Specialist Position Details:

• Facility: BayCare Behavioral Health Center
• Location: Tampa, FL
• Status: Full time, Hourly
• Shift Hours: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
• Weekend Work: Every Other
• On Call: No

Intake Specialist Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency psychiatric evaluations for all persons of all ages in the Hospital's Emergency Center.
• Handle all requests for all psychiatric services from other agencies, individuals or other departments.
• Maintain statistics related to Intake Services.
• Provide clinical reviews for managed care organizations when not involved with E.C. responsibilities.
• Provide basic psychiatric care to adult and geriatric patients on Inpatient psychiatric units.

Required Certification/Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Required Education:

• High School or Equivalent
• Preferred - Bachelors - Related Field; Preferred - Bachelors - Psychology

Required Experience:

• 1 year - Psychology or Bachelor's degree in related field in lieu of experience
