Integration and Test Engineer

PGS Worldwide is seeking an Integration and Test Engineer for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position supports IAMD development within the Integration and Test discipline, focusing on the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, subsystems, and systems. The engineer will develop and execute test plans, analyze test results, document discrepancies, and verify system performance.

Required Skills

• At least 6 years of experience with electrical design, integration, testing, and verification/validation requirements
• At least 6 years of experience with physics and electronic testing
• Experience with Design Verification Testing (DVT)
• Ability to develop advanced test plans, test procedures, test execution schedules, and test reports
• Experience integrating and testing hardware and software components, subsystems, and systems
• Ability to analyze test results and evaluate system or subsystem performance
• Ability to perform integration regression testing to verify and validate fixes
• Ability to develop test solutions while considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints

What You’ll Do

• Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain integration and test solutions
• Integrate and test in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems, and systems
• Translate customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions
• Establish functional and technical specifications and standards
• Solve hardware/software interface problems and define input/output parameters
• Review, evaluate, and derive requirements for testability
• Develop and direct comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules
• Coordinate subsystem and system testing activities with programs and other organizations
• Execute electronic and system-level testing
• Analyze test results and prepare comprehensive subsystem and system-level evaluation reports
• Write discrepancy reports and perform integration regression testing
• Verify and validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems, and systems
