Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - Critical Need

Job Title: RN Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Locations:  Northern California
Duration: 3 Months (Possible Extension)
Shift: Day / Night 12hr shift
Pay Local: $70/hr - $75/hr W2 (Negotiable)
Pay Range: $2,700 - $3200 Gross Weekly
Available Locations: Oakland | South San Francisco | Santa Clara | San Jose | San Leandro | Vallejo| Vacaville / Antioch, CA

Job Duties:

• Deliver comprehensive, high-acuity nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU setting.

• Continuously monitor and assess patient status, responding promptly to changes in condition.

• Manage ventilators, drips, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring equipment.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safe and accurate delivery.

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with hospital policies.

• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families throughout the care process.

 Requirements:

• Active California RN License (unrestricted)

• Minimum 1+ years of recent ICU experience (acute care hospital setting preferred)

• BLS and ACLS certifications required (NIHSS preferred)

• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills

• Experience with ventilators, titratable drips, and advanced cardiac monitoring
