The Harrison Central School District, a high-performing International Baccalaureate school district located in southern Westchester County, New York, is seeking an elementary school assistant principal, long-term substitute. This leadership position requires candidates to hold valid New York State certification in administration (SAS or SBL) and at least seven years of successful teaching experience. Experience as an instructional coach, mentor teacher, or professional developer is preferred. The expertise and responsibilities required of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Promoting the District's core values - equity, access, rigor, and adaptability - to support differentiated teaching and personalized learning that serves each child's needs.
• Cultivating relationships with students, families, faculty, and staff to promote a positive culture for learning.
• Observing and evaluating teachers and staff in a system that views accountability as a means of improving educational opportunities for students.
• Assisting with critical functions, including master scheduling, school safety planning, and training for faculty and staff.
• Working collaboratively with a talented leadership team to advance a commitment to equity and access for all students.
