Job Description
A private equity-backed, tech-enabled services organization is seeking an experienced Interim CFO to provide financial leadership and continuity while the company conducts a search for a permanent CFO.
This is a strong opportunity for a seasoned CFO who can step into an established and high-functioning finance organization, provide executive-level leadership, and quickly get up to speed on a complex business. This is not a turnaround or transformation role — the existing finance team is strong and functioning well.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical accounting foundation, particularly complex revenue recognition and ASC 606, combined with broad CFO-level experience across finance, operations, treasury, forecasting, and strategic transactions.

Key Responsibilities of the Interim CFO:
- Provide executive-level financial leadership and stability during the transition to a permanent CFO
- Oversee accounting and financial reporting, with particular attention to complex revenue recognition and ASC 606
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, cash management, treasury, and broader financial planning
- Partner with the CEO and executive leadership on financial and operational decision-making
- Manage lender and investor communications and support valuation activities
- Provide financial leadership related to M&A, including diligence and transaction activity
- Lead and support an established finance team while ensuring continuity across the organization
Qualifications & Requirements of the Interim CFO:
- Proven CFO experience within a complex, multi-faceted organization
- Strong GAAP and technical accounting foundation, with demonstrated expertise in ASC 606 and complex revenue recognition
- Ideally progressed through accounting leadership roles such as CPA, Big 4, Controller, or similar before moving into CFO-level leadership
- PE-backed experience strongly preferred
- Tech-enabled healthcare/services experience is a plus, but industry experience is not required
