Interim CFO
We’re partnering with a PE-backed, tech-enabled healthcare services organization for an Interim CFO to provide leadership and continuity while the company conducts a search for its permanent CFO.
This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned CFO who can step into an established finance organization, quickly build relationships with the CEO and ownership group, and provide stability during a leadership transition.
This is not a turnaround or transformation role. The finance team is established and strong, and the focus will be on leading the existing organization and maintaining continuity.
What You’ll Do As Interim CFO:
- Provide executive leadership and oversight of the finance organization
- Partner closely with the CEO, ownership group, and senior leadership team
- Lead and support an established, high-performing finance team
- Provide continuity across financial reporting, planning, analysis, and core finance activities
- Oversee financial operations and ensure appropriate financial discipline and execution
- Support the transition of responsibilities from the current CFO
- Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the CEO and ownership group
- Help maintain momentum across key finance priorities while the permanent CFO search is underway
- Provide hands-on leadership and guidance as needed without unnecessarily disrupting the existing organization
What We’re Looking For:
- Seasoned CFO or senior finance executive with prior CFO experience
- Experience in healthcare services and/or tech-enabled healthcare strongly preferred
- Experience operating in a PE-backed environment is a plus
- Complex revenue recognition experience is highly desirable
- Strong executive presence and communication skills
- Ability to quickly step into an established organization and earn the confidence of the team
- Comfortable partnering with CEOs, boards, and ownership groups
- Strong leadership skills with a practical, hands-on approach
- Comfortable taking on an interim assignment of approximately 3 months, with potential to extend
- Tempe/Phoenix-area candidates preferred, though remote candidates will be considered for the right fit
