Interim Controller

An Alaska hospital is seeking their next Interim Controller!

The Position

• The Interim Controller will serve as a key member of the executive Finance team and will be responsible for the oversight and management of all accounting operations.
• Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Interim Controller will be responsible for approximately seven FTEs and will strive to maintain engagement in all financial operations areas and will ensure survey and audit readiness.
• Key responsibilities include reimbursement structures, collaborating with the RCM team, and process improvement projects.
• This leader will assist with operating budgets, hiring/education initiatives, process improvement, and reports.
• Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree is required.

Compensation Details

• Compensation Range: $170,000 to $180,000 annually.
• The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
• The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
