A growing U.S. Business undergoing post-acquisition integration is seeking an Interim Controller to lead day-to-day accounting and financial reporting. This hands-on role will stabilize the close process, strengthen internal controls, and align U.S. Accounting operations with an international parent company's reporting requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead daily accounting operations, month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
Identify gaps in reporting, documentation, staffing, and internal controls.
Prepare reporting packages and align accounting policies and reporting calendars with the parent company.
Support U.S. GAAP-to-IFRS adjustments and acquisition accounting activities.
Coordinate with external accounting advisers and auditors on technical accounting matters and supporting documentation.
Support integration of accounting systems, processes, and intercompany reporting.
Monitor cash flow and working capital, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll coordination.
Establish practical procedures and transition responsibilities to the permanent finance team.
