Hospital Pharmacist
Location: Black River Falls, WI
Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Pharmacist for a hospital assignment in the Black River Falls, WI area. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist seeking a consistent block schedule in a hospital setting while supporting daily pharmacy operations and patient care services.
Assignment Details
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 12 weeks
- Schedule: 7 on / 7 off
- Shift: Day Shift
- Hours: 10-hour shifts, Monday–Sunday during scheduled work week
- 70 hours per pay period
Requirements
- Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License in good standing
- BLS Certification required
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience required
- Hospital experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Review and verify medication orders
- Dispense medications and provide clinical pharmacy support
- Monitor medication therapies and ensure safe medication use
- Collaborate with providers and healthcare staff to optimize patient care
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and hospital policies
