Interim Human Resources Generalist

About the Opportunity

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected Central Ohio employer seeking a Human Resources Generalist for an immediate contract opportunity. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys a hands-on environment and can support multiple areas of human resources including employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and recruiting support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies and procedures

• Support onboarding and offboarding activities

• Assist with employee relations issues and workplace investigations

• Administer benefits enrollment and answer employee questions

• Maintain employee records and HRIS data accuracy

• Coordinate recruiting efforts, including interview scheduling and candidate communication

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment regulations

• Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred

• 3+ years of HR Generalist experience

• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices

• Experience with HRIS systems

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
