    Job Description

    KPF, a global architecture practice headquartered in New York City, is seeking a Designer in New York City to assist their immediate supervisor in cooperation with the project team to develop high quality design and construction documents.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrate a basic knowledge of Interior Architecture including, but not limited to, design documentation, construction documentation, construction administration, and furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) specifications.
    • Provide design support for projects, including drafting, initial renderings, sketching and Revit drawings and 3D model making.
    • Assist in preparing presentation materials (physical and digital models).
    • Assist in preparing and revising construction documents.
    • Produce graphic presentations, renderings and technical drawings 
    • Build physical study models and presentation models

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design.
    • 1-2 years of relevant interior design experience.
    • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, D5, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.
    • Ability to communicate graphically with an eye for detail.
    • Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills. 
    • Effective written, verbal and overall communication skills.
    • Ability to work well under pressurein fast paced environment and manage deadlines.
    • Understanding of documentation of millwork and FFE is an asset.
    • Experience in workplace planning is an asset.


     

    Work Environment:

    This position requires you to be in person in our New York office 5 days per week.

    Pay Range:

    $65,000.00 - $78,000.00 Annual
