Job Details

Key Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation: Direct, engage in, and oversee the high-quality preparation and serving of food for patients and special functions.

  • Station Management: Efficiently set up, break down, and restock your dedicated work area.

  • Time Management: Coordinate daily work schedules seamlessly with the hospital meal schedules.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required. (90-hour course or equivalent education preferred)

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of institutional or quantity cooking experience required.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and work comfortably over hot stoves and ovens.

  • Lifting Capacity: Ability to safely lift heavy pots and kitchen equipment weighing 50 to 130 lbs.
