On any given day, you'll:
Assist with construction observation of municipal infrastructure projects.
Perform quantity measurements and computations, record keeping, contractor pay estimate preparation and review of contractor progress; materials testing; field staking and general inspection for municipal road and utility projects.
Prepare reports, review design standards and code requirements, and conduct field investigation of design problems.â¯
Work closely with field staff and project managers.
Required Qualifications:
Pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering technology, or a related field.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
Reliable means of transportation to travel to the office and project sites.â¯
Desired Skills and Experiences:
Coursework or experience construction observation, Civil3D or autoCAD,â¯underground utilities, survey or municipal design is beneficial.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
