Intern

JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Alabama Farm Credit offers a paid, 320-400-hour summer internship with flexibility for beginning and ending dates, as well as with the intern's weekly schedule. Internships are available in all major areas of the associations operations including lending, credit, appraisal, accounting, finance, marketing, and operations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a degree seeking curriculum from an accredited college or university and must have successfully completed a minimum of 85 credit hours. The association prefers candidates who are seeking degrees in applicable areas such as Agribusiness, Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing or Agricultural specific disciplines.

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Proven communication, strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to establish priorities.
- Ability to take initiative.
- Computer literate, problem solving and time management skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of people.
