Hands on introduction to many elements of golf tournament and event operations including coordination of the tournament and daily logistics of the event, inventory maintenance, and exposure to financial management and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Educational experience in sports management, marketing, business
- Prior exposure and experience to golf tournaments or sports & event operations preferred
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with MS Office Software applications
- A professional image and ability to work as a team is essential
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Work with the Operations Manager and Event Services Manager in the set up and production of the event, including the building, tear down and maintenance of facilities for the event.
- Work directly with various vendors and volunteer committees on coordination of the tournament and daily operations.
- Responsible for coordinating golf carts, office trailers, communication equipment, soft drink and water distribution, and other vendors as assigned.
- Develop and maintain new and existing databases or spreadsheets related to vendors, equipment, and other on-site event plans
- Order, receive, inventory and stock items relative to the successful operation of the event.
- Oversee several key areas of the event during event week.
- Special projects or other duties as assigned.
