We’re looking for a highly motivated and self-starting Software Engineer Intern to join Nintendo Technology Development’s (NTD) Audio team for the Summer of 2027.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with passion for excellence and a desire to grow in a fast-paced, engineering-focused environment.  In this role, you will have complete ownership over a project that integrates directly with the Nintendo audio system on Nintendo Switch 2.

What we’re looking for...

• Fluency with computer engineering, embedded systems and operating systems
• Comfortable writing software for a general purpose operating system
• Creative and proactive
• In command of engineering fundamentals: results driven, independent, problem-solver, meticulous
• A rising senior pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering related field
• Comfortable working with AI tooling
• Comfortable reading and writing code by hand
• Ready to learn quickly, ask questions and jump into a small, dynamic team setting
• An effective communicator with strong writing skills
• Available for full-time work during the summer of 2027

This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.
