Job Summary:

HCA West Florida is seeking a faculty member to support Bayonet Point Hospital's internal medicine continuity clinic.

Qualified Candidates:
  • Two half days a week dedicated to resident clinic didactics
  • No weekends or inpatient responsibility
  • One Practice Location, located on Bayonet Point Hospital campus
  • Dedicated administrative time
  • Participation as an active faculty member in an ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency program and graduate medical education administrative experience prior to appointment is encouraged but not required
  • Dedicated to training the next generation of physicians
  • 4:1 Resident to Faculty Ratio

  • HCA Florida Bayonet Point is a 320-bed acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center located in Hudson, and home of the nationally acclaimed Heart Institute
  • The GME teaching hospital has achieved distinction as a certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center, Chest Pain Center with PCI, accredited Arrhythmic Center or Florida (SCPC) and Accredited with Commendation Community Cancer Program (CoC)
