In this role, our client is seeking a true "business partner" minded professional to serve as a part of the firm's International Tax Advisory Service Leadership Team. Our client's International Tax Team focuses on providing solutions for affluent families, business owners, entrepreneurs, investors, and mid-sized corporations.

Opportunities you will engage and advise on could include:

• Analyzing tax implications of a cross-border acquisition
• Working to advise high net worth clients on repatriation of foreign earnings
• Advising clients on implications of TCJA provisions as it pertains to the tax status of international holdings
• Leading a team working on outbound and inbound planning and cross-border transactions
• Provide technical international tax guidance to other non-international stakeholders supporting client's business endeavors

The ideal person for this role will possess:

• 5+ years overall International Tax Experience in either public accounting OR an industry role
• 2+ years in a supervisory or management capacity
• Solid understanding of both GAAP and IFRS accounting in relation to 1120, 1120S, 1040, and 1065 clients
• Hands-on experience working with FBAR, 5471, and other international tax requirements
• Active CPA License; would consider a JD or LLM

Our client is looking for someone that has a passion for the international scope of business transactions, not just someone that "does" international tax. While not necessary, if you have:

• Worked overseas
• Originally lived overseas and moved to the US
• Studied abroad during college
