A growing public accounting and advisory firm is seeking an International Tax Partner to join its expanding tax practice. This leadership role will focus on providing strategic international tax advisory and compliance services to multinational corporations, closely held businesses, and high-net-worth clients with cross-border operations and investments.
The position offers exposure to complex international structuring, transaction planning, and global tax compliance initiatives while helping drive practice growth and mentoring junior professionals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the preparation and review of international tax compliance filings, including Forms 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858, and related disclosures
Advise clients on cross-border tax planning, entity structuring, and international transactions
Provide guidance on Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, foreign tax credits, transfer pricing coordination, and treaty matters
Assist clients with inbound and outbound tax planning strategies
Monitor changes in international tax legislation and assess impact on client structures and reporting obligations
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with multinational and internationally focused clients
Collaborate with legal, accounting, and advisory teams on global restructuring and transaction initiatives
Mentor and develop staff while ensuring quality control and timely client deliverables
Support business development efforts and help expand the international tax practice
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field
CPA certification preferred
Significant experience within international tax advisory and compliance
Strong technical knowledge of U.S. International tax rules and cross-border structures
Experience working with multinational corporations, private clients, or international investment structures preferred
Proven client management and leadership experience
Strong communication, analytical, and business development skills
Role can be based in Long Island, NYC, or South Florida.
