Role Description & Responsibilities
Our Dassault Systemes SIMULIA brand provides best-in-class simulation technologies integrated into the 3DEXPERIENCE platform in the most effective way possible. The Fluids group in SIMULIA consists of a world-class group of experts who develop the next generation of fluids solver capabilities. As part of SIMULIA software simulation products, these innovations impact how Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is used in many industrial settings worldwide.
We are looking for a CFD engineer with AI experience who can help test agentic workflows for our fluids technology. This is a paid six month internship/co-op. The position is based at the Dassault Systemes Office at 175 Wyman Street, Waltham, MA.
We are developing next-generation agentic AI technology for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Our vision is to
transform how engineers interact with simulation software by combining advanced AI systems, engineering expertise, and modern agent-based workflows.
We are seeking a highly motivated intern with interests spanning CFD, artificial intelligence, and product development.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of engineering simulation, AI, and product strategy. The intern will collaborate closely with software developers, AI engineers, and product managers to evaluate new capabilities, provide technical feedback, and help shape the future direction of an AI-powered engineering product.
We will provide you with the steps, tools, and leadership that will help advance your career at Dassault Systemes and help our customers reach their goals.
In this role you will:
Perform industrially-relevant CFD simulations
Evaluate and test new AI-driven CFD capabilities and workflows
Work directly with developers to identify usability issues, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement
Provide structured feedback on agent behavior, workflow design, and user experience
Design and execute test cases that reflect real-world CFD engineering tasks
Assess the quality, accuracy, and usefulness of AI-generated engineering outputs
Collaborate with product managers to define requirements, prioritize features, and refine product direction
Document findings, recommendations, and product feedback for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
