Internship, HR Partner, HR & Legal (Winter/Spring 2027)

This position is expected to start January 2027 and continue the entire Spring term (i.e., through April) or into early Summer 2027 if available. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time, for most internships.

International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

Multiple Locations: Fremont, CA, Palo Alto, CA, or Austin, TX

• Support workforce planning strategy and process improvement: Document workflows, assess workforce composition and capabilities, recommend future oriented development plans

• Support employee lifecycle touchpoints: onboarding, learning/development, performance management, offboarding, etc.

• Triage employee escalations related to the employee experience: pay/benefits, career growth, workplace issues, performance, etc.

• Use data to inform decisions and drive employee engagement

• Analyze HR processes and programs and recommend integration of automation and AI tools that improve employee experience and efficiency

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Information Systems, etc., or related field

• Available for a minimum of 12+ weeks for the internship

• Able to work 40+ hours per week

• Self-starters who are results oriented, resourceful, analytical, innovative, intellectuallycurious and who take initiative and risks

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable with difficult conversations, talking to new people, de-escalating situations

• Demonstrates strong ability to embrace and adapt to change, takes initiative and showcases curiosity

• Excellent judgement, discretion, and problem solving; collaborative and solution oriented

• Learns quickly in a fast-paced environment

• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft office tools/programs (Excel, Word, etc.)

• Previous work experience or internships in related field is a plus

• Experience in project management is a plus

Expected Compensation

$22.00 - $27.00 + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
