About the opportunity

QIAGEN is seeking a proactive and energetic intern to support the North America Regional Marketing team with trade show and event operations, marketing coordination, and marketing operations. This internship provides hands-on experience across various elements of marketing operations - include event execution, marketing, and operations supporting the North America commercial team within a fast-paced life sciences and diagnostics environment

QIAGEN - Germantown, Maryland (Head Office, 3+ months). The intern needs to be based in this location during the internship.

Your tasks include:

• Support execution of trade shows and events, including maintaining event calendars, tracking registrations, and organizing exhibitor communications

• Assist with pre-event logistics such as prep sheets, shipment tracking, and event kit assembly

• Manage and organize marketing data in systems such as Salesforce (SFDC) and Seismic

• Track leads, support campaign setup, and maintain accurate event and campaign records

• Contribute to post-event reporting by compiling survey results, summarizing insights, and supporting ROI tracking

• Assist with marketing content creation, including basic social media posts and email templates

• Conduct research on target audiences, industry associations, and event opportunities

Your profile:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with Salesforce is a plus

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

The typical pay rate for this role is $15/hour. This temporary and/or contract position is not eligible for QIAGEN's company benefits.
