About the role

The Niron Magnetics Internship Program provides students with hands-on experience, mentorship from industry professionals, and the opportunity to work on impactful projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Internship opportunities are anticipated across a variety of technical and operational functions. Final intern placement will be determined based on business needs, candidate qualifications, and areas of interest.

What you'll do

Depending on your assigned team, responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting active projects and business initiatives
  • Analyzing data and presenting findings
  • Assisting with process improvements and problem-solving efforts
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Participating in professional development and networking opportunities
  • Presenting project outcomes and recommendations to company leadership

Potential internship areas may include:

  • Engineering (Chemical, Process, Industrial, Mechanical, etc.)
  • Research & Development (R&D)
  • Analytical Laboratory
  • Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)
  • Maintenance & Reliability
  • Manufacturing Operations
  • Supply Chain & Procurement
  • Additional functions as business needs evolve

You might be a great fit if you are:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Associate’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Expected graduation date between Spring 2027 and Spring 2028
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative environment
  • Interest in manufacturing, engineering, technology, materials science, research, or related fields

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior internship, research, leadership, or project experience
  • Strong academic performance
  • Demonstrated initiative through student organizations, employment, research, or extracurricular involvement

Our pay and benefits:

  • Competitive hourly pay of $25.00 hour
  • Variable-hour internship schedule; this position is not benefits eligible
  • Two (2) paid vacation days during the 10-week internship

Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)
