Job Summary:
Texas Cardiovascular Specialists Group is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join their established practice in Dallas, TX.Qualified Candidates:
- Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP)
- Experienced cardiology APPs are encouraged to apply
- New graduate candidates will be considered only if they possess prior high-acuity clinical experience in settings such as critical care, intensive care, cardiovascular care, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, or other acute inpatient environments
- Texas licensure eligible
- Monday – Friday schedule with weekend call requirements
- Inpatient responsibilities include evaluating new consults, hospital rounding, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary cardiovascular care team
- Outpatient responsibilities include working alongside an experienced Interventional Cardiologist and providing follow-up care in the clinic setting
- Assist Interventional Cardiologists with procedural and peri-procedural patient care, including patient evaluation, procedural preparation, procedure support, and post-procedure management.
- Opportunity to care for a diverse and complex cardiovascular patient population within a growing, established practice
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care required

- 63-bed specialized adult Medical City Heart Hospital consists of 3 dedicated cardiovascular ORs, 2 hybrid ORs, 3 cardiac catherization labs,3 biplane EP/interventional catherization labs, 43-bed CVICU and 48-bed progressive care unit with 24/7 intensivist/hospital coverage
- Full range of adult interventional procedures performed exclusively by the ACHD team covering both campuses
- World class expertise in adult cardiac surgery, arrhythmia surgery, structural heart disease, cardiac transplantation and mechanical support
