Contract Length: 1 base year with 4, 1-year option periods
Schedule: Full-time - Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with On Call Hours.

Requirements:
Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship.
Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
Board Certified per the American Board of Radiology.
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
Previous experience with the VA is a plus.

What does a typical day look like for the Interventional Radiologist? You will:
Schedule: Full-time - Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Estimated 95% of the time is involved in direct patient care.
Contractor's physician(s) shall be responsible for providing Interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to: Angiography, Cryoblation, Balloon angioplasty/stent placement, Line insertion, Chemoembolization, IVC filters, Cholecystostomy, Vertebroplasty Drain insertions, Nephrostomy placement, Embolization, Radiologically inserted gastrostomy, Thrombolysis, Dialysis access & related interventions, Biopsy, TIPS placement, Radiofrequency ablation, Biliary intervention
Estimated 5% of the time involved in administrative duties.
