Interventional Radiology Scheduler- Raleigh, NC (On-Site)

Wake Radiology UNC REX Healthcare is seeking experienced Schedulers to join our team at our Raleigh office located in the North Hills area. This is an on-site position located off of Lake Boone Trail.

As a IR Scheduler, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service by coordinating imaging exams and procedures for all Wake Radiology locations. You will work closely with physician offices, patients, and internal teams to ensure appointments are scheduled accurately, efficiently, and with the highest level of customer service.

What You''ll Do:

• Manage inbound and outbound phone calls to coordinate patient care and scheduling needs.
• Review and schedule appointments from designated work queues.
• Transcribe imaging, procedure, and consultation orders.
• Provide exceptional customer service while assisting patients and referring providers.
• Collaborate closely with radiologist and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to verify orders and ensure accurate scheduling based on clinical recommendations and provider availability.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of scheduling requests and coordination of patient appointments.
• Support a collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Hours are Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of scheduling experience preferred (prior radiology scheduling experience is a plus)
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional, courteous telephone etiquette and outstanding customer service skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment
