Job Description
Title: Rad Tech
Duration: 13 weeks
Address: 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642
Schedule: Day Shift 5*8s 40hours/week
Shift: 5×8-hour days
On-Call: 5–7 call shifts per 7-week block, including 2–4 weekend call shifts
Other: Callback and holidays per unit needs
Contract: 6-month contracts accepted
Candidates: Local candidates only
Experience: Minimum 2 years
License: NYS License required or must be obtained before start
Certifications: ARRT and AHA BLS (American Heart Association only)
Preferred: VIR Certification
Systems: HIS, RIS, and PACS
Responsibilities: Produce diagnostic-quality images, prepare and position patients, assist radiologists during procedures, operate imaging equipment, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
Soft Skills: Teamwork, compassion, flexibility, communication, and accountability.
