Interventional Radiology Technologist, Full Time, Day Shifts and Variable Weekends

Position SummaryMust have knowledge of all Radiological interventional procedures, catheters, wires, stents, and equipment. Performs all diagnostic examinations including ER, OR, and portable examinations. Technical skills may include advance computer knowledge used in obtaining diagnostic images. Ability to work extended periods standing wearing a lead apron. Good communication and professional ethics are essential. Ability to handle stress and maintain professionalism. Reports and communicates to Nurse Manager of Special Procedures. Medical decisions are directed from the Radiologist and Neurointerventionlist. Trained for and skilled to perform exams on patients of all ages. Access and utilize the hospital and radiology information systems including PACS. Schedule flexibility and on-call.Position Qualifications: A.R.R.T. approved program (2 years) preferredCardiovascular-Interventional Certification preferredCardiovascular Credentialing International Certification preferredHospital Radiology experience preferredCollege A.S.
