    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced (1 year) Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures with a C-arm, ensuring high-quality images while prioritizing patient and team safety and comfort. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as proficiency in various imaging modalities. This role will require experience in scrubbing procedures, assisting physicians while maintaining sterile technique, and being willing to learn how to maintain Interventional Inventory.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and filming images with c-arm equipment
    • Scrubbing and assisting physician during procedures
    • Prepare and position patients for sterile procedures
    • Operate imaging equipment effectively to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
    • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
    • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in the practice to discuss imaging results, contribute to patient care and adjusting to patient schedule changes.
    • Manage Inventory
    • maintaining a positive, professional, calm, friendly work environment for yourself, the team and our patients.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
    • Stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education opportunities.

    Experience

    • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist from an accredited program is required.
    • Experience in scrubbing and assisting in various procedures such as but not limited to Dialysis Fistulagrams, Declots, HD catheter placements / exchanges, ect is preferred.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and emergency medicine is essential.
    • Previous experience in a Level I Trauma Center is a plus.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment are necessary.
