Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist
Location: Syracuse, NY 13210
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5x8-Hour Shifts | 40 Hours/Week

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical imaging skills, knowledge of radiation safety practices, and the ability to provide exceptional patient care during radiologic procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic and interventional imaging examinations under the direction of radiologists and physicians
- Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging procedures
- Explain imaging procedures and provide patient support throughout examinations
- Operate imaging equipment efficiently to obtain high-quality diagnostic studies
- Practice proper radiation safety and protection techniques to minimize patient exposure
- Monitor imaging equipment performance and report equipment malfunctions promptly
- Process imaging documentation and enter information into radiology information systems for billing and recordkeeping
- Maintain compliance with departmental procedures, imaging protocols, and safety standards
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams to support patient care needs
- Participate in on-call coverage as required
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License/Registration required
- Minimum 1 year of CT, MRI, Cath Lab, or Interventional Radiology experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging equipment and procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills
- Must successfully complete pre-employment health clearance requirementsPreferred Experience:
- Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology experience preferred
- Experience with advanced imaging procedures and patient monitoring
