RESPONSIBILITIES
Candidate should pose the following qualifications to be considered for the opportunity:
The ability to perform cycle counts as directed in order to maintain inventory accuracy
Complete work orders as assigned
Accurately maintain inventory records and files
Prepare, maintain, and publish monthly record of cycle counts
Assist in determining reasons for inaccuracies as they occur and recommend methods to prevent future inventory discrepancies
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Responsible at all times for promoting a safety culture and awareness within their area of responsibility.
Completes all cycle count tasks generated by warehouse management system to ensure warehouse personnel are able to perform their function.
Cycle count various assigned aisles daily ensuring all locations are counted at end of each quarter (Cycle count includes quantity, lot numbers, pallet type, and any other relevant information regarding the item).
Investigate and determine inventory discrepancies through various systems. Reporting such findings to management.
Reconcile and adjust inventory discrepancies in WMS.
Answer any shortage issues along with solutions regarding customer orders.
Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, cherry picker and scissor lift.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Strong interpersonal, numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills are integral to the success of this position.
Excellent verbal and written communications and time management skills
The ability to multi-task and adapt to constantly changing requirements, group collaboration skills and the ability to work with and influence others to resolve problems
Individual should be able to tolerate cold temperatures and able to perform part of their daily routine while working in a walk-in refrigerator and freezer.
Solid understanding of inventory management concepts. Knowledge of warehousing, receiving and distribution, as well as Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) documentation and management strongly preferred
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
Knowledge of Microsoft suite programs - (MS Excel; MS Word; MS Outlook)
Clean warehouse, maintain temperature control and assist in upholding the highest level of AIB standards possible
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma and a minimum of 3 years' experience working in an Inventory Control capacity required
WORKING CONDITIONS
Standard warehouse conditions apply. Long hours spent standing, walking, bending and lifting products. Operating industrial equipment such as electric pallet jacks and forklifts. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Exposure to extreme temperatures (both hot and cold).
