Job Overview

The Inventory Control Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring optimal inventory accuracy, material availability, and reporting reliability in a fast-paced, multi-site electronics prototyping and manufacturing environment.

Leveraging advanced analytical tools and deep supply chain expertise, you will support engineering prototyping and production continuity, minimize excess and obsolete (E&O) materials, and drive operational excellence across production facilities and distribution centers. You will partner cross-functionally with planning, procurement, engineering, production, logistics, and customer teams to make data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Analytics & Reconciliation

  • Multi-Site Inventory Control: Monitor, analyze, and reconcile inventory levels across global facilities to meet production demands while minimizing carrying costs.
  • KPI Tracking & Reporting: Compile, maintain, and present daily, weekly, and executive dashboards covering key metrics such as Inventory Turns, Days on Hand (DOH), and Accuracy Rates.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Proactively identify discrepancies, slow-moving stock, and potential shortages, performing root cause analysis to resolve systemic inventory issues.

Material Lifecycle & Process Improvement

  • E&O Management: Oversee excess, obsolete, and end-of-life (EOL) material disposition in compliance with corporate policies.
  • NPI & EOL Support: Partner with engineering, procurement, and demand planning to support New Product Introduction (NPI) inventory readiness and smooth EOL material management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead projects to streamline cycle count processes, enhance warehouse efficiency, and standardize inventory control best practices across sites.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Systems

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate closely with customer program managers, demand planners, procurement, and production teams to align inventory strategies with manufacturing schedules.
  • ERP & Systems Optimization: Collaborate with IT and Operations to enhance ERP/MRP functionality, data integrity, and reporting capabilities.

What You''ll Bring

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. APICS certification (CPIM/CSCP) is a plus.
  • Experience: 2-7 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain analysis, or materials management (preferably in electronics manufacturing).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle 11i, SAP, or equivalent).
  • Advanced MS Excel proficiency (data modeling, reporting) and MS Office suite.
  • Domain Expertise: Solid understanding of production capacity planning, Lean methodologies, and inventory control frameworks. Experience with forward/reverse logistics (NPI prototyping, direct fulfillment, and repair) is a plus.
  • Key Attributes: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive under pressure.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 annually (offered base pay depends on experience, education, certifications, and skills).
  • Total Rewards Package:
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision health coverage.
  • Life and disability insurance.
  • Retirement savings plan.
  • Company-paid holidays and Paid Time Off (PTO).
