Inventory Associate - Project Based
Location: Fontana & Ontario, CA
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
Schedule: 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM) OT is possible.

Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and energetic Inventory Associates to support a large-scale inventory preparation and counting project across two warehouse locations in Ontario and Fontana, CA. The majority of time will be spent at the Ontario warehouse, with occasional work at the Fontana manufacturing facility. This role involves organizing inventory, performing inventory counts, locating materials, palletizing products, and ensuring inventory records accurately match physical inventory. Candidates should be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and handling sheet metal and industrial materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct physical inventory counts and verify quantities against inventory records.
- Organize and prepare inventory for counting activities.
- Locate materials within designated warehouse locations.
- Palletize and stage materials as needed.
- Assist with reorganization and cleanup of warehouse storage areas.
- Read and identify inventory labels, part numbers, and product information.
- Utilize basic computer skills to support inventory tracking and documentation.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, inventory, retail, or stockroom experience preferred.
- Ability to accurately count and track inventory.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Ability to read labels and identify materials.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dependable attendance.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the workday.
Work Environment & Requirements
- Ontario warehouse is approximately 12,500 square feet and contains large industrial equipment, steel materials, and sheet metal components.
- Majority of work will be performed at the Ontario location, with approximately 1-2 days at the Fontana facility as needed.
- No forklift operation, pallet jack operation, or machinery operation is required.
- Steel-toe shoes and work gloves are required.
- Overtime is not anticipated; however, candidates should be available for occasional overtime if business needs require it.
