Inventory Control Lead

Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking an Inventory Control Team Lead for an electro-mechanical manufacturer, which would be a great opportunity for someone with hands-on warehouse, receiving, and inventory control experience looking to further their career in manufacturing materials management.

• Lead daily receiving, put-away, and picking for material handlers, receivers, and quality inspectors; assign work, track time, and coach the team.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, ERP/WMS transactions, adjustments, transfers, and inventory research.
• Troubleshoot material flow issues, stage incoming inventory, and support production schedules.
• Enforce safety and PPE compliance; back up the team hands-on as needed (picking, receiving, pallet jack).
• Drive continuous improvement (Kaizen) and cross-train team members.

Essential Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing warehouse and inventory experience, including 1-2 years leading a small team; forklift experience required.
• ERP/WMS and Excel skills for data analysis and inventory research.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Bonus Qualifications

• Some college or additional education.
• Lean Manufacturing or Operational Excellence exposure; military experience.
