Inventory Control Supervisor

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Control Supervisor to oversee daily inventory operations within our warehouse and distribution facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience with NetSuite, and a proven ability to maintain inventory accuracy, manage cycle counts, and supervise a team of approximately 10 employees.
Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of approximately 10 inventory control employees.
• Oversee daily inventory control activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage and coordinate cycle counting processes and inventory reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Utilize NetSuite to track inventory movements, monitor stock levels, and generate reports.
• Verify inventory reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages, overstocking, and operational disruptions.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with warehouse management and other departments to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Train, coach, and evaluate team members to ensure productivity and compliance with company procedures.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and inventory loss prevention.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and warehouse procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of inventory control or warehouse inventory management experience.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience required.
• Experience supervising a team of approximately 10 employees preferred.
• Proficiency in NetSuite required.
• Strong understanding of cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and reporting procedures.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management systems preferred.
