Inventory Control Team Member

PURPOSE:The Inventory Control Team Member compiles records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment.

KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identifies Inventory requirements. Operates and maintains automated data processing equipment to perform product accounting, computations, and research. Stores, maintains, issues, and delivers raw materialsAssists/Coordinates year-end inventoryDaily inventory control - monitor and resolve discrepancies, which includes:

Negative inventoryProduct listed in primary locationProduct in receiving and research locations

Physically preforms inventory transfers as well as enters those movements within the SAP operating systemMonitor and work with Inventory Coordinator with old/obsolete inventory dispositionComplies safety, security, and environmental directives and practicesPrepares documentation indicating identification and quantity of assetsWarehouses stock items, maintains storage area infrastructure and facilities

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school, one year of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experienceMust be able to work any shiftMust have the ability to stand during an entire shift as well as must have the ability to lift and carry 60lbs up and down stairsPrevious forklift experience requiredMust be able to navigate MS Office efficientlyPrior SAP experience a plus
