Inventory Control/Warehouse Specialists

JOB SUMMARY
We are a small, experienced team of warehouse specialists in Lee s Summit Missouri. We are currently looking for warehouse team members. You will provide shipping and receiving for orders that are processed through Technology Services and the Client Enterprise Repair Depot.
You will work closely with your lead and a small production team to ensure adequate inventory of parts and equipment are in stock and ready to ship. Prepare, inspect and box IT asset equipment for outbound shipping and complete check-in for inbound shipping. Perform day-to-day duties of the general warehouse operations requirements, scanning, tracking, inventory, cycle counts, housekeeping.
You will be expected to be on time daily, dependable, proficient, working smartly and safely in a property smoke and drug free environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Receive, verify, approve and process order requests
2. Generate proper documentation for shipping small package (UPS and FedEx), LTL, and full truck load
3. Daily, you will be responsible for reconciling shipping and receiving documentation to ensure that inventory accountability is maintained
4. Maintain optimum work area organization, efficiency and cleanliness
5. Attend regular training sessions scheduled by Corporate Training or Department Manager
6. Work with shipping vendors to ensure timely delivery and receiving services
7. Reconcile shipping and receiving reports daily to ensure that inventory accountability is maintained
8. Research inventory processing issues for shipping, receiving and general warehousing
9. Inventory management, tracking, scanning- Manage daily scheduling, staffing, material management, compliance, training and auditing activities
10. Lift, carry and stack up to 65 pounds
11. Work in a multi-shift operation during tax season operations with extended hours of operation.
12. Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA and company regulations with emphasis on HazMat requirements.

Qualifications:

1. Associate's degree or High School Diploma and 2 years of experience
2. Shipping and receiving experience using UPS WorldShip or FedEx tools
3. Two years Inventory control experience, this should include cycle counts, with quarterly whole inventory cycles
4. Two years of pallet jack/ sit-down forklift experience with overhead pallet location up to 32 feet
5. Experience in customer service assisting internal and/or external customers
6. Ability to organize, comprehend, deliver and carry out verbal and written instructions, effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
7. Ability to prioritize and balance daily tasks, workloads and to work independently
8. Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and previous understanding of inventory systems and common shipping software
9. Be able to consistently lift, carry, box and unbox, stack up to 65 pounds unaided
10. Must be able to work on your feet during a normal 8 to10 hour workday, bending, lifting, squatting, push/ pull/ move a loaded manual pallet jack
11. Must be available for overtime hours on demand as business needs arise, this can include Saturdays and Holidays
