Onsite Job: Inventory Coordinator/Material Coordinator II

Work Location: Maple Grove, MN

Shift: 1st, 6 AM to 3PM

Work Schedule: 9/80

Education: High School Diploma

Position Description:

This position is more closely aligned with an Inventory Coordinator/Material Coordinator than a traditional warehouse Material Handler. Most of the positions involve inventory accountability, detailed data entry, maintaining accurate material/property records, and working with inventory/ERP systems. The employee will frequently work with individual components and small parts. This position does include physical material-handling duties such as palletizing, shrink-wrapping, packing/unpacking material, and retrieving individual parts from bags/containers. The candidate will need strong data entry skills, strong communication skills, and good computer skills.

Target backgrounds titles: Inventory Coordinator, Inventory Control Specialist, Material Coordinator, Material Control Specialist, Stock Control Specialist.

• Opens containers using hand tools: counts, weighs and samples materials and uses computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying and recording information.

• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays by hand.

• Complete physical inventory counts by manually counting or using weigh scale.

Experience Required

• A minimum of three years of experience in inventory management.

• ERP Experience.

• Has worked in a warehouse environment.

• 18+ years old.

• A valid driver's license.

• Being able to lift weights from 40lbs.

• Some schedule flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, early mornings, or evenings.

• Highly detail-oriented.

• Being able to operate a handheld scanner quickly and accurately to find items.

• Read and understand the shipping documents.

• Strong English oral and written communication skills.

• Advanced math skills.

• Computer and typing skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Suite, and other related software.
